EXTENDED OPENING HOURS FOR THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS 2025/26
Every Friday and Saturday from 19 December to 3 January, as well as on Thursday 25 December and Thursday 1 January, the Doge’s Palace and the Correr Museum will be open until 21.00 (last admission at 20.00).
NOTE: On Thursday 25 December and 1 January, the Doge’s Palace will open to the public at 10.00.
AFTER-HOURS VISITS TO THE DOGE’S PALACE
It’s possibile to visit the Doge’s Palace after the closing time, sending a request at least 5 working days before the desired data, to verify the availability for an extraordinary opening of the museum.

The Secret Itinerary through the Doge’s Palace covers the rooms and chambers where the delicate work of some of the most important bodies in the Venetian administration was carried out. These spaces offer an interesting insight into and acknowledgement of the civil and political history of the Venice Republic, its public organisations, and its institutional bodies deputed to government and justice. Museum Pass
The Museum Pass is the cumulative ticket for the permanent collection of the Musei Civici of Venice currently open and for those connected (Clock Tower not included). This ticket is valid for 6 months and grants one single admission to each museum.

EXTENDED OPENING HOURS FOR THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS
Every Friday and Saturday from 19 December to 3 January, as well as on Thursday 25 December and Thursday 1 January, the Doge’s Palace and the Correr Museum will be open until 21.00 (last admission at 20.00).

Tickets without a specific entry time slot
We inform our visitors that holders of tickets “The St. Mark’s Square Museums” without a specific entry time slot will be admitted to the Doge’s Palace from 12.00 p.m. onwards.
Notice
We inform our visitors that the artworks in the Sala delle Quattro Porte are temporarily not on view, due to ongoing restoration work.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
Notice Guided tours
Visitors who have purchased guided tours are kindly requested to show up at the scheduled departure time. Showing up at the entrance with a delay of more than 20 minutes on the tour departure time will result in the exclusion from the guided tour.
Cloakroom and luggage
It is not permitted to enter the museum area with suitcases, trolleys and bulky bags (luggage whose sum of the dimensions of the three sides exceed a total of 1 linear meter). Visitors with such luggage will not be allowed inside the museum. We therefore kindly request that any kind of bulky luggage may be deposited elsewhere before coming to the museum.
Medium-size bags and backpacks, umbrellas and any other objects that will not be judged suitable to enter the museum galleries by security staff must be left at the cloakroom. Storage is free of charge.

Information for groups
From 01/04/2022 unorganized groups of more than 10 people must use whisper audio equipment.
The service is free for school groups that have purchased educational activities proposed by MUVE Education, for up to a maximum of 2 accompanying teachers and / or for any certified disabled accompanying persons.
When the audio equipment is collected, one adult member of the group must sign a form accepting responsibility for any possible loss or damage, and leave a valid identity document at the desk (this will be returned when the equipment is handed in at the end of the visit).
The hire of the equipment costs one euro per person, you can pay it at the cash desk for whisper.
Notice
People whose face is covered with a veil will be asked to present identification before being admitted.
Bags and rucksacks may be checked at the museum entrances.
Please leave any bulky items in the cloakroom.
